Enjoy transparency
Since the launch of Jeeran now over 7 years ago, our CEO & Founder had two main ideas in mind. Offer guests an amazing headache free experience and offer landlords full transparency. This article will focus on the latter.
So what does offering full transparency means? It is a broad specter of things that achieve the same original goal that was set by our Founder; it starts from the moment a booking is made by a guest to the moment the payout is issued by the platform used and it ends with the processing of those funds to the landlord. Is that all? Of course not, that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
Properties managed don’t just simply have bookings that need to be taken care of, they need also maintenance to be handled, bills to be paid (utilities, internet, tv etc) but also external services (laundry, housekeeping) and finally purchases of items (new espresso machine for example). All this cash flow has to be accounted for, preferably in real time or as close to it as possible.
We’ve created our own custom made tracking tool (available on PC, Appstore & Google Play) which has allowed us to offer our landlords the access to check all their records whenever and wherever they want. The records include all income and all expenses their properties had, and to not miss out on any single new record, the landlords received automated emails to their preferred email (an owner may grant access to a third person to keep track for him for instance). The APP allows us to attach screenshots to every single record, offering landlords an easy and fully transparent way to access the bills, booking confirmation and any other relevant information directly through the App.
By doing so we allow our landlords to have a clear vision of everything that goes on with their property without their need to do any kind of auditing.
