This policy explains what personal data Jeeran for Real Estate Rentals & Marketing ("Jeeran", "we") collects from guests, property owners, tenants and website visitors, why we use it, who we share it with and how long we keep it. We process personal data in line with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations.
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect

| Guests | Name, phone / WhatsApp, email, booking dates and number of guests, messages with us. For bookings made directly with Jeeran: a copy of your ID or passport and your payment confirmation. For Airbnb bookings we receive only what Airbnb shares with hosts. |
| Property owners | Name, nationality, ID or passport, contact details, address, ownership documents, bank details for payouts, tax information, and the answers in our client information (KYC) form. |
| Long-term tenants | Name, ID or passport (and residence permit for foreigners), contact details, occupants, employment or source of income, and payment records. |
| Website visitors | Pages visited, device and browser data and cookies, including Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising measurement, and anything you send us through forms or WhatsApp. |
3. Why we use it
- To take and manage bookings, rentals and property management agreements, and to pay owners.
- To meet our legal duties as a real-estate broker: verifying clients and keeping records under the Anti-Money Laundering Law No. 80 of 2002, keeping a brokerage register, and issuing e-invoices and e-receipts to the Egyptian Tax Authority.
- To keep properties, guests and neighbours safe and to deal with damage, complaints or disputes.
- To send you offers, only where you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
- Booking platforms (such as Airbnb) and the property owner, as needed for your stay.
- Banks and payment providers that process payments.
- Service providers that host our systems and communications (website, booking database, messaging). Some of them store data outside Egypt; we share only what is needed and take steps to protect it.
- Housekeeping and maintenance teams, only the details they need for a stay.
- Public authorities when the law requires it, including the General Organization for Export and Import Control, the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Combating Unit, the Egyptian Tax Authority and the courts.
We do not sell personal data.
5. How long we keep it
Client, contract, payment and identity records are kept for at least five (5) years after the end of the relationship or the transaction, as required by the anti-money laundering rules, or longer if another law or a dispute requires it. Marketing contacts are kept until you opt out. Website analytics follow the cookie periods set by each provider.
6. How we protect it
Access is limited to the Jeeran staff who need it. Copies of IDs and ownership documents are stored in access-controlled systems and are never posted publicly.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted where the law allows (records we must keep by law stay until the legal period ends), object to or withdraw consent for marketing, and receive information about how it is processed. Write to support@jeeranelgouna.com; we reply within the period set by law. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Centre.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
